The “Japan Women’s SAKE Award 2024” is dedicated to preserving Japan’s traditional culture while revitalizing local economies.
It promotes the philosophy of creating a society where women can thrive,
especially in the art of sake brewing. The competition, the first of its kind in Japan,
involves rigorous evaluation conducted by women with professional qualifications and extensive tasting expertise.
Rather than focusing on the classification system(tokutei-meisho-shu),
the competition divides entries into six categories based on aroma and taste,
ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of each sake.
Encouraged by this award, we remain committed to contributing to the further growth of sake culture
and will continue to dedicate ourselves to the craft of sake brewing with sincerity and passion.
