The Japan Women’s SAKE Award is founded on three core principles: preserving Japan’s traditional culture, revitalizing regional economies, and promoting women’s empowerment in society.
It is Japan’s first sake competition in which qualified female judges strictly evaluate each entry. Focusing on aroma and taste, the competition aims to convey the appeal of sake to a broad audience, serving as a hub for regional revitalization and cultural promotion through Japanese sake.
It is an overwhelming encouragement for us to receive such recognition through a rigorous evaluation process conducted by a distinguished panel of female judges—including sommeliers, flight attendants, and chefs—who engage with sake with utmost sincerity on the frontlines of dining and service.
