Hakurakusei
Tokubetsu Junmai
Hiyaoroshi
The first sip reminds one of banana and melon, which is then followed by a pleasant acidity that creates a sharpness.
This sake combines the freshness and sharpness of Hakurakusei with the softness and fullness of a traditional Hiyaoroshi sake, which ages over the summer.
Flat polished rice gives this sake an excellent sharpness, and the summer of aging rounds out the flavor creating an impeccable balance.
Enjoy this sake warmed when chilly outside.
Hiyaoroshi: A sake brewed in winter which is aged over the summer months. The summer of aging mellows and softens the sake’s flavors.
